The Revenge of the Sith IS double sided… so the colors are very vibrant when the posters are lit up… so if you are using back lit displays for these posters you may not want to include the ROTS poster… since it will make all the other posters look “faded”.

I went to see Mr Cushing's talk at Black Oak Books in Berkeley on June 30, and his passion for the subject in person was infectious. Certainly, in his brief talk to give some historical context to the posters, many in his audience -- largely Berkeley radicals -- shuffled uncomfortably in their seats when he suggested that "things aren't perfect" in Cuba, but while Mr Cushings general support of the Revolution in Cuba was really quite secondary to his brilliant -- and inspired -- explanation of the history of these fantastic works of art. <p>The book itself is simply beautiful -- with scores of pictures representing each of the major poster styles produced in Cuba since the Revolution. There is sympathy for the Revolution, but no preachyness about the glory of equally available state-rationed asprin or the easy equality of justice in the tropical gulags.<p>But the book is only about the revolution to give these art works context. It is a book about the brilliant visual artists who provided the color and design splash to their Communist revolution. It was a dreary day, but alas...the mail arrived and my John Lennon poster was finally in my posession. I noticed right away that Its big, and looks nice. Its as delightfully blue as a blue scale photo can be. Everyone at my church really loved it. I'm thinking of buying one every year and giving it to someone who really needs one...maybe at christmas time. On a more serious note...I'd just beware of shippers. I ordered 8 posters and they all came rolled up (which is fine) but were mashed in one of those extra long toilet paper cardboard middle things which made every one of them wrinkley on the edges. So If you want to ensure that your purchase arrives wrinkle free... better pick it up off the shelf yourself. (i think i made up a new offensive phrase...shelf yourself.)
